A little introduction about myself

 hello everyone, my name is Sherry, it is a great honor to have you as my classmates in the family and relation class lol ☺Let's learn from each other and have fun this semester! 

A brief introduction about myself: I was born and raised in China, my family moved to United States about 10 years ago, and I came here 4 years after they arrived. I was living in New York City before transferring here, and  I want to say there is a huge culture shock between Rexburg and NYC! I love being here and even though this is my last semester, I will cherish every moment of being here, making more freinds and learning more things that I could use in the future. 

I am majoring in International Studeis, this is my last semseter, and I will go to the grad school in New York University this fall. The reason I am in this class because I am dating my boyfriend and we are planing to get married when I get the master degree, so I would like to learn the knowledge about how to make a family full of love and care, also the respect, which I think those are very important to a family building, which it is the reason that I want to create a blog account, sharing my blogs to everyone, letting them to get to know me more, and sharing the experience about their families :)That's all about me, and please feel free to ask me:) Again thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be here with you guys, let's learn, grow and have fun together thise semester! 😁

Let kids to make contribution and put efforts to get the things they want

  How to become a good parent is never easy, you need to know how to give your kids enough attention and love, on the other hand you can’t spoil them. It is hard to keep these two balanced. As parents, knowing how to let kids to make contributions are essential, thus they will know how to be thankful and grateful for the things they have and also learn they need to make efforts to get whatever they want. When I was a kid, I had a strong craving for chocolate cookies (I do even now) every time when me and my mom go to the supermarket, I went to the cookie shelf and waited my mom come to me, then I will ask her to buy the cookies I want.
